Transport

The Axe Valley and West Dorset Ring & Ride service covers the Bridport area and provides transport for shopping, leisure, cultural and social activities.  Those eligible to use this service include the elderly, people with disabilities and people living in isolated areas with no other transport facilities.  For further information call 07510 255965

Dorset Council's Community Transport can get you where you need to be and help you to make essential journeys to places like the hospital, doctors, dentists, opticians, shopping and social trips.  Find your local community transport scheme with the  Community Transport Directory.

There are almost 3,000 miles of public rights of way in Dorset: 4,700 footpaths, 1,700 bridleways and 37 byways.
